There are more than 350 species of turtles living on all continents except Antarctica. They live in both salt and freshwater. The southeast has the highest turtle biodiversity in North America. My wife claims that when I said this to her on our first date, this was the moment when she knew she was going to marry me. I did not know I was going to marry her until she asked me to sign the marriage license at the county recorder's office.
